RIDIN' FOR THE BRAND

Ridin' for the Brand is a Montana story that journals a year in the life and times of three old-time Montana ranching families.  Originally coming to the Big Timber area during the early Texas cattle drives over a century ago, these families are struggling to maintain the only life they know and love.

Over the past couple of generations, an ever-changing and growing America presents new and challenging environmental and economic issues, making it near impossible for smaller ranching and agriculture operations to remain sound and viable.  To make matters worse, the majority of consumers are out of touch with the origins of the food they consume and the inherent problems this poses for society at large.  Ridin'for the Brand explores both the hardships and the joys of traditional concerns and issues impacting our future as consumers.
